The premier sailing club and centre of sailing in Thailand, The Royal Varuna Yacht Club (RVYC) is located in a secluded cove between Pattaya and Jomtien and is less than a two hours drive from Bangkok.
Visit the family oriented club for sailors of all abilities, from the uninitiated to serious racers. We offer a year-round sailing program with cruising and racing. Great facilities include a stunning clubhouse, restaurant, swimming pool, junior club-house, boat storage and accommodation. An ideal place to give your children some freedom in safe surroundings. Rental boats (Laser, Hobie 16, Optimist, Fusion, RS Venture, and RS Vision) for racing and leisure are available to members and guests. The club offers sailing classes for adults, as well as an extensive sailing program for children during the holidays plus supervised sailing for kids on the weekends.

Sailing Event
The Gulf of Thailand’s azure waters are calling, with ideal winds for an exciting race or a relaxing sail down the coast. Train with world class sailing instructors on our fleet of boats including Optimists, Lasers, Catamarans and Dinghy’s, plus plenty of storage for your own boat. Come sail with us.
Event Management
If you are looking for a venue to host your upcoming event or function, then look no further than the Royal Varuna Yacht Club. We are situated in what can only be described as a private oasis here in the heart of Pattaya.
Within the privacy of our club, which is restricted to members and invited guests, we can offer many facilities which can be customised to your requirements. These include:
- Two air-conditioned meeting rooms that can be arranged to meet your requirements. Between these there is an open-air balcony area overlooking the sea. The usual projector, screen and other meeting essentials are also provided.
- Large lawn areas with landscaped gardens.
- A secluded beach.
- An open-air veranda restaurant that can seat over 220 people and cater to your needs.
Drinks can be served at the veranda restaurant and at our beach bar which is on a promontory at the side of our beach. A unique location for sundowner drinks or a barbeque.
The club overlooks the Gulf of Thailand and has a great view out over the water towards Koh Larn. There are many magnificent sunsets as the sun sinks behind the island!
In the past we have held a variety of successful events including weddings, networking, corporate meetings, team building activities, parties, and other individual events.
For each event we work with you to create a bespoke plan to meet your requirements and make sure it is remembered by all!
