Who is concerned?
All companies in Thailand if they own personal data from individuals, this includes clients, suppliers, third party and most importantly employees.
What does it take to be compliant?
Every company must ensure that the data they hold are safely stored, and exclusively used for the purpose of the collection, have a comprehensive data privacy policy, and privacy notice at each collection point
What are the risks of not being compliant?
Fines (up to 5 million baht), jail terms, and possible court cases from data subjects
