Dear Members and Friends of BeLuThai,
On behalf of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, I would like to express positive and warm feelings towards Mrs Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg as a new Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce Thailand (JFCCT)’s Chairwoman. With Ms. Leirvåg’s achievements as well as her familiarity of Thailand in mind, I sincerely believe that JFCCT would have a new stellar contributor to the team as well as the business sector in Thailand. Additionally, I also hope that the new epoch of JFCCT would remain an amazing fit with our BeLuThai to further enhance good cooperation and prodigious relationship between two entities. On Tuesday 17th May 2022, we hosted the Breakfast talk in regards of the new law of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok thank you to our speaker Mr. Bernard Collin, Chief Executive Officer of SafeComs Network Security Consulting Co., Ltd. for sharing the importance of awareness raising within workplaces as well as the alternative approaches in dealing with the security for PDPA which will be effective on June 1st 2022.

On Tuesday 17th May 2022, the Belgian-Luxembourg/Thai Chamber of Commerce along with Mr. Bernard Collin, Chief Executive Officer of SafeComs Network Security Consulting Co., Ltd. as a speaker, was hosting the Breakfast talk in regards of the new law of Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok. It was an useful perceptiveness in which all attenders were well-informed of the new security threats in this rapid technological globalisation. His talk was also prioritising the importance of awareness raising within workplaces as well as the alternative approaches in dealing with the security of one’s data. Therefore, by enhancing this information, one can be prepared for the coming of digital criminal, properly protect oneself from such activities and help out companies to possess their data and information more safely. With such informative talk, the chamber would like to express a huge appreciation to Mr. Bernard Collin of SafeComs Network Security Consulting Co., Ltd. as well as all attenders.
