                    La Lorraine Bakery Group (LLBG) is a 100% Belgian family-owned company active in the milling and baking. LLBG is a producer                     of high-quality baked goods for retail & food service sector.

                    Primarily responsible for developing the Thai bakery market.

                    Stage 1: market research to identify competitors, target customers & products in general. Research and understand local food                     regulations, import regulations, company set-up, ... .

                    Stage 2: connect with (potential) clients such as well-established distributors (Jagota, KCG, Eurofood, ...) , retailers (Tesco-Lotus,                     Makro, Big C, Tops, ...) and food service channels (Mc Café, Starbucks, Accor hotels, ...). Responsibilities include proposing suitable                     product assortment, branding strategy, price setting, prepare quotations, organize import documentation and (sample) shipments,                     sales support, ... .

                Responsible for market research, to accurately define LogisData’s business scope, product range and services, etc. Developed a full                 operating website and marketing strategy in the first stage, explore business opportunities in China & Europe in a second stage (Kewill,                 Cargowise, GT Nexus, ...). We have a partnership with the Shanghai E-port and currently our customers are DHL, Sinotrans, ... and                 local Chinese freight forwarders & customs brokers.

                Providing consultancy services for a Chinese/Belgian freight forwarding company (related to daily operations and legal issues).

                I learned to cooperate with international customers such as

               Siemens, Shanghai Electric and ITER organization (currently biggest energy project in the world). Tasks included drafting shipping plans                 of loads, collecting information and reporting about future nuclear and wind power projects. Responsible for drafting and (re)writing                 logistics agreements and to provide legal support. I travelled to Denmark, France and various cities in China to coordinate and execute                 heavy-lift projects on site. I prepared the Siemens audit and as a result Sinotrans Ltd. received a 3-years official supplier certificate. I                 drafted a feasibility study for JV set-up between Sinotrans heavy-lift Ltd. and Sarens (second largest heavy-lift company worldwide) and                 wrote a press release to introduce the JV

                (6-month project) Tasks included optimization of warehouse by ‘lean manufacturing’ principle, catering outsource project, general                 improvement of plant. I learned to meet tight deadlines, to solve problems in teams and to maintain balance between schedule, budget                 and expectations of the general manager. I learned to deal with cultural differences in a work-related situation.
