There are different Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms being used worldwide, the most well-known are Arbitration and Mediation. Arbitration has been surveyed as the most preferred dispute resolution mechanisms for cross-border transactions. Whereas, Mediation is gaining more traction over the last couple of years. Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI) has been an immense push for the use of Mediation to settle BRI related dispute.
This seminar will give you a good understanding of ADR, mainly on Arbitration and Mediation from Thailand’s perspective. Whilst ADR provide great platforms to resolve disputes, all ADR methods have its pros and cons that should be considered before making them a part of your company’s business risk management process.
