Brighton College International School Bangkok Opens its Prep and Senior School
The Prep and Senior School at Brighton College Bangkok, sister of the UK’s number one co-educational school, will open on 7th September, after a successful first year in the Pre-Prep School. The College’s focus on individualised learning and inspiring teaching of a forward-thinking curriculum gives every child the opportunity to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
The Prep and Senior School will initially welcome children up to 15 years old, before extending over the following years to age 18, when pupils will go on to attend the world’s leading universities. The College campus offers an innovative blend of classrooms and flexible learning spaces. State-of-the-art facilities for sports and creative and performing arts will enable pupils to excel beyond the classroom.
Pupils will be encouraged to explore new disciplines, skills and interests and to learn to take risks and accept the outcome, whether it leads to success or failure. Pupils will benefit from a full timetable, taught by subject specialists, from the age of 9. At this age children are ready for an additional challenge, enabling them to delve deeper into a subject. Specialist teachers have a depth and breadth of knowledge in their areas of expertise that sow seeds of fascination in young minds.
In addition, the Senior School will successfully prepare pupils for IGCSE and A-level examinations. The curriculum will provide them with knowledge and specific skills that will help them achieve academic excellence.
